Candy Candy Candy
Sonething i've noticed not only the past couple months, but the past eight years is that Dakota gets a major rush off of sweets. So pretty evedantly Halloween is his favorite day of the year. So recently halloween is something he has gone on about non stop. I can not recall how many times i've heard "Aunty Foofa do you have to go to work on Halloween? Because if you do you have to call in. Just tell your boss that we are going trick or treating Im sure she will understand " Or "So aunty Foofa you know how I want to be Anthony Carmine from Gears Of War Judgement right? well I was thinking that when we get your costume we can also pick up this helmet he has. We can, right?" I adore how Dakota assumes he and I are going trick or treating (we totally are) and I think the importance of Halloween to him is adorable. I can't wait for the day to come and Dakota to burst with excitement. Dakota is counting down the hours, as am I.

Now that I'm older I don't get so excited about Halloween but reading your blog, motivates me to take my younger siblings Trick-or -Treating. I'm pretty sure just like your nephews my younger siblings also find Halloween super important too.
ReplyDeleteYour nephew sounds so sweet and adorable. Every child should be excited for Halloween. Keep up the good blog.
